Healthcare Industry Chile Trade Mission

A total of 10 Turkish companies participated in the delegation — including 1 from the dental sector, 3 from the pharmaceutical sector, 2 from the OTC products sector, and 4 from the medical devices sector. The delegation consisted of 18 participants in total, comprising 15 representatives from the companies and 3 staff members from the exporters’ association.

Prior to the delegation, proposals were collected from PR agencies experienced in the region, and their working methodologies were reviewed. It was decided that the selected PR agency would handle company invitations and follow-ups, scheduling of B2B meetings, coordination of institutional visits, organization of a retail market tour, management of meetings at the venue, and event promotion activities. Following evaluations and meetings, Globrand, a company experienced in these service areas and the region, was selected to provide these services.

The delegation took place between 11–16 August 2025. Before the mission, an online briefing meeting was held with the participating companies via the ZOOM platform, providing detailed information about the program and important considerations regarding the country. Company profiles were also reviewed in depth during these meetings to ensure more accurate business matchmaking. Additionally, participant companies were encouraged to invite potential local buyers or firms they wished to meet during the event.

On 12 August 2025, the delegation arrived in Santiago. Following hotel check-in, Sistem Dental conducted a site visit to the Universidad del Desarrollo to explore potential cooperation opportunities. Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical and OTC products group visited various branches of Cruz Verde, Farmacias Ahumada, Salco Brand, and Simi — the four largest pharmacy chains in Chile.

On 13 August 2025, B2B meetings were held in the Parinacota Hall of the Intercontinental Santiago Hotel with 10 Turkish companies and 24 foreign companies, including 3 from Peru and 1 each from Bolivia, Panama, and Uruguay. During the meetings, Türkiye’s Commercial Attaché in Santiago, Mr. Peyman Gülfam Bilgin, also visited and met with our companies.
